Privacy Policy

Short version

Noshow is a free web calculator. We collect the minimum we need to send you the report you asked for and to improve the tool. We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.

What we collect

• Email address. Submitted when you request a recovery report.
• Calculator inputs. The industry, empty slots per year, staff hours, and average service value that you enter.
• Derived figures. The annual loss and recovery numbers the calculator produces from your inputs.
• Approximate location. Country and currency detected from your IP via a third-party geolocation service, used only to display the calculator in your local currency.
• Request metadata. User agent string and referring page, stored alongside your submission for abuse prevention and debugging.

We do not collect payment information. We do not ask for names, phone numbers, or addresses.

How we use it

• To generate and email you the PDF report you requested.
• To send occasional, low-volume product updates about Noshow. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email from us.
• To aggregate anonymous statistics about how the calculator is used (e.g. which industries are most common) so we can improve it.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the third-party services required to run this site:

• Amazon Web Services (DynamoDB for storage, SES for email delivery).
• A geolocation API that resolves your IP address to a country code and currency so we can localize figures.
• Frankfurter, a public foreign-exchange rate service, used for converting figures to your currency.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Calculator submissions are retained while Noshow is operating so we can improve the tool and contact you about the service you signed up for. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you at any time. Email [email protected] from the address you submitted and we will action it within a reasonable time frame.

Cookies and trackers

Noshow does not set advertising cookies or use cross-site tracking. The site may store small amounts of functional data in your browser (e.g. your last selected industry) so the tool behaves sensibly between visits.

Children

Noshow is intended for business operators. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If the change affects how we use existing data, we will notify subscribers by email.
